The brain-child of a small group of creatives, Atlanta Black Fashion Week was
established to showcase, celebrate and educate aspiring fashion
professionals of color. This is not just another fashion show but a platform to
connect creatives of color to a global audience. ABFW aims to create a more
inclusive fashion landscape while supporting and mentoring new and
emerging talent
ABFW was not created to compete but to collaborate because it is only
through collaboration that we can begin to elevate Atlanta to fashion
capital status. We aim to partner with individuals and organizations
who share our core values and goals. Together we can help create more
fashion jobs and opportunities for people of color and provide a
valuable fashion experience for the South.
